Johan & Heather öberg
Johan and Heather met in California, engaged in a romantic vineyard in Santa Barbara married shortly thereafter, and moved to Sweden. The years to follow were filled with the gift of four wonderful sons, rewarding work, and travels.
The family farmhouse on Bjäre Peninsula brought reality to the dream of creating wine. Combining skills learned from other careers, their interest in wine, and their ambition for excellence, Johan and Heather have created a team of specialists with the goal of creating fine wines in the Swedish countryside.

Emma Berto
Emma grew up in a Swedish/French family in Avignon, France. She studied oenology and viticulture at the University of Montpellier. By working with prestigious Domaines like Beaucastel and Chateau Sixtine in Châteauneuf-du-Pape she gained wisdom and honed her natural sensitivity that aspires her to create elegant and balanced wines.
Winemaker
romain CHICHERY
Raised in the small town of Chinon, France, Romain, discovered viticulture and his passion for wines. At the University of Montpellier, he studied oenology and viticulture and has worked in Bourgueil, Languedoc and Alsace. Through these experiences, he gained respect for biodynamic precepts, which will reflect in the winemaking at Thora Vineyard.
